RUTABEGORZ ORANGE, is our newest location. Situated just north of the historic plaza district in Old Towne, the Orange restaurant continues on in RUTA'S tradition of being located in historic buildings.
Built in 1915, the site was originally home to Daniel and Annie Crawford. The Crawfords were early citrus ranchers in the Orange area.
Through the years the building has had a variety of uses. For years the building housed a Mexican restaurant and then, more recently served as another restaurant that featured South American fare.
RUTA'S ORANGE has the look and feel of a turn of the century home, lots of built in cabinetry and beautiful woodwork. Out front facing Glassell is the "finest patio dining" in all of Old Towne Orange.
